Basic Thai Lessons

This section is going to be my another side job, I am hired by a Deutsch guy to teach him Thai. He said he needs it because of he has to work with Thai people who none of them do not speak English at all. So, he feels like it's his job to take action instead of his colleaues to learn English.

I got to meet him this morning for a self-introduction and asking him on what his purpose of taking the course and what he expects to get from learning Thai and found out what I just mentioned above. And after I talked to him about 20 minutes I found out he's able to speak at least 5 languages already Deutsch, French, Spanish, English, German, and little Chinese - I even told him that is more than enough already, why should you need to learn another language since the 5 of them seem more than enough for his living already.  And the way he answered me really impressive saying, 'Well, as long as we're still breathing, learning never gets too late.' (typical answer from smart people). He just made me to look at myself and feel shame of how come I'm very lazy, even though I'm probably 10 years yonger than him, I feel like my brain's memory is full already. (Full of ...) haha

So, after talking to him, I found out I need to design new learning course for  him because I could tell already that he has a big brain - he could catch many words from me already after we talked for less than half an hour. Also, I found a piece of Thai handwriting  alphabet paper on his living room table which of course really kills my nerve because it really looks like Thai wrote it.

And since I have to this kind of preparation for him, I think I should upload it to my blog here too in case there might be someone who interested in learning Thai - beginner level.  So, you are welcome to take a look and learn Thai with me. I will try my best to guide him and all of you in the way that fit working people like us and able to get benefit out of it soon in the future.

However, for everyone here to understand the same thing before we start into deeper session, 'Please Don't expect my English to be as perfect as you or other western are. Because I born and grew up here in Thailand and never been out of the country to take any courses at all, this is the best I can do already.' And please don't copy or print it out for public use because I'm sure there are many broken English here. This is just for me, you, and my Deutsch leaner only.

Thank you
