Cosy Beach Hotel: The Gallery Sunset Terrace
Thinking about where I’ve been yesterday evening, my skin
turns goose bump. Why goose bump – because it’s one best of the best sunset
spot you guys shouldn’t miss at all when visiting Pattaya.
my friend pic and allows me to use |
Beachfront Cliff location, gentle evening wind when hot
weather slowly cooling down, strong golden shine bright light sun turns into
dark orange far far away where people call horizon line, up high in the sky
flying back home flocks of birds from seafood hunting during the day – flying over
your head because standing there on your right hand side far end close to the
big wall a big old green tree is their dwelling.
The Gallery Sunset Terrace – part of Cosy Beach Hotel, so
everything operated in hotel service standard, all staff, chief, and bartender
all dressed and served in well and polite manner – most of them are cute, yep I’m
talking about a bartender who made me a glass of Long Island Iced Tea, he even apologized
for slow service because I got there during prime time – 5:30 pm. No wonder,
this time and especially on Friday evening when most of people want to free
their mind from a long tiring working week, without reservation, I had to sit in
front of the cocktail bar. However, the view still beautiful.
I’m not pretty sure, it looked to me like, there is a Bakery
zone at the entrance and romantic dinning section next to it. Few small food
booths: Thai, Western, available on right hand side of the bar. Beautiful,
comfy, seats placed nicely – not too many but little too less, many tourists
and local having great time talking, laughing, drinking, and of course selfie-taking
on their smart phone. Few sweet and romantic couple also function their love
story without noticing a poor single guy like me sitting alone and lonely behind
the counter bar jealously of how lucky they are….. then look at me (cry) (cry)
(cry)
Well, what details else I miss in writing about this
beautiful place, hopefully not. I rate this place a 4.5 star sunset spot in
Pattaya where everyone shouldn’t miss while traveling here in Pattaya. Oh, and
club sandwich I had yesterday was good too. Alright, let’s check it out by
yourself. Oh and one last thing, since this place is newly opened, I couldn't find phone number or official webpage, let contact Cosy Beach Hotel follow this link Cosy Beach Contact Info

My Food Talk and Opinion - please read through
About food being mentioned here in this session, I would apologize
if this in your interest range, please be informed that all food I’m going to
upload and write about in this section will be, let’s say, 90% Thai food that I
think you guys can and should try when you are here.
meal with 3 friends last week cost us only 1000 baht with 5 orders, big fat shrimps, squids, and local curry |
The reason I’m saying this because, I just really find no
reason to write about something I don’t know of and especially I don’t like to
eat – yes, Western foods. I grew up with Thai food and still insist to get
older with it. Also I find no reason to give you guys information about famous
or even five star restaurant in Pattaya because such information you can find
it everywhere on internet – even more professional presentation they provided
to you already either in writing or media concerns, also you can easily find it
right quick by google seach.
my close up snap to show you shrimp size |
I’m planning to bring to you, high (many time I find it
higher) quality of food but in local price – of course most of my restaurant
usually not located in tourist spots such as downtown or beachfront, most of my
restaurant usually located in non-popular spots or some of the great one even
located in a quite remote village on another side of Pattaya or neighboring area
like Ban Amphor, Sattahip, Krating Lai, etc. The very special thing about local
restaurant is they served and cooked for us like we are their family member, no
pushing, no rushing, no forcing, no marketing trick. They also not have to pay
high rent for building, staffs, uniform, let’s say, they have very low cost and
bill on their shoulder to pay in the end of the month. Yes, what I’m going to
say is; our shrimp is real fresh shrimp, squid, crab, lobster, always served
with high quality and quantity and yes ! in local or Thai prices, not tourist
price.
Concerning the taste and recipe, you can be more sure that
you re eating original and traditional taste that has been passing from one to
another generation. I can pretty sure say that most of the food you usually
order in tourist spot’s restaurant is not authentic and real, many ingredients
have been changed to suit you guys which from my point of view I think it quite
wrong this is because as far as I know the only thing that you western guys can’t
tolerate is ‘Hot & Spicy’ stuffs, so this should be only thing they reduce
for you, but not the almost entire dish. Anyway, I should not too detail about
this, seems like it’s not my business already hehe sorry.
In this last paragraph, I would say, in my food section will
talk mostly about local and high quality with very reasonable price. The
location maybe a bit complicate for you guys, but I promise to leave contact
info like map, phone number, and short explanation the easiest way to get there
with transportation fee range minimum and maximum for you in case you have to
negotiate with driver. Then you can be sure, you are at least once have a
chance to eat what you really deserve from the money you pay out of your pocket
from working and saving hard for your holiday, while you are visiting us
Pattaya.

Mangosteen
Thailand, apart from being a resort destination and country, well-known as the land of smile, thousands of fresh fruits is waiting for you to fall in love. Since Thailand is located on tropical zone, the fruits taste much different from European where it's cool, breeze, and no sunshine, the fruits here tend to be sweeter and tasty for some chemical reasons. What I'm going to talk about in this topic is Mangosteen
Mangosteen widely known and Favorited by, let's say, 100% of
Thai people. This is because its unique sweet but classic taste makes people
can't get away and hardly going home without carrying some of it home. Its
white, smooth, sweet, and easy to eat stuff inside drags Thai people to fall in
love with it. Furthermore, doctors already proved its natural substances apart
from very tasty and sweet and reduce temperature in stomach from typical Thai
delicious menus that usually contains with hot and spicy ingredients.
This amazing local fruit usually gives during summer season
here in Thailand, exactly the same time of durian season. Thai people usually
eat it after their durian consumption because old people said mangosteen can
cool down heat of body from digesting hi-cloresterol durian.
Concerning the price, Mangosteen is simply reasonable when
compares to other kind of fruits in the same season, average price is 1 to 1.50
Euro per kilogram, of course this price is completely different when you see
its price tag in Europe.
The reason I'm writing this article because, I want all
tourists during their visit Thailand to know that this is the must-eat fruit
while they are here. Something you can't find in USA, Europe, or even other
southeast asian countries, but here in Thailand.
I'm 95% sure that you guys will be falling in love with it
after the first bite, it's truly tasty, natural, and full of nutrients. So,
anytime visiting Thailand, please make sure, you have a bite of
mangosteen.
Woody.
